Come to Local Edition 8/17 from 8-11pm  to celebrate Azure's Birthday with drinks and live music.  Deeply rooted in the Jazz and Blues tradition, Azure is an amazing human being that uses music as a vehicle for healing while utilizing her vocal talents to bring people together.  Constantly living in the moment Azure uses music to shine wisdom, love and truth to those who are lost and need it most.  Even in the face of the greatest adversity/hate love will always be the most powerful and Azure shares this message through her singing.  Thank you to Local Edition, Jazz In the Neighborhood, sound engineer Lee Brenkman, my wife Jadma for making the promotional artwork and the Independent Musicians Alliance for helping make this event possible.

For the past year this group has been meeting about once or twice a month for day time sessions/recording and in that time we have built a nice repertoire of tunes written by great composers such as Duke Pearson, Ray Brown, Henry Mancini and Phineas Newborn.
Come celebrate our drummer Bryan’s birthday who we are very thankful to have still with us after a very scary near brush with death two years ago. Come celebrate life, love and music at the new reopening of this amazing historic venue.
